Clay shaper: knitting needle (optional)
Klimt/Retro Cane

 1.  Roll out a sheet of scrapclay on the thickest setting of your pasta machine
 2.    Press the cufflink blank to make 2 marks to guide

  3.    This is what it should like

  4.    Using the tissue blade cut out 2 slices of your cane. It should be about 1/16” thick

5.    Place the slices over the marks on the scrap clay, and press to remove all the air inside
6.    Slide your finger pushing the bubbles out

  7.    Using the Cufflinks Blank, press over the slices to cut the circles out.

  8.     Remove carefully the circles from the sheet of clay

   9.   Keep aside the removed circles for later

10.      Place the clay carefully on the cufflinks and press it against the clean surface area. This way it will be even
11.      Using tissue blade, and your fingers cut, and smooth around the cufflinks to make a rounded edges
12.      Remove carefully the circles from the cuff links
13.       Bake your piece in the oven for about 25min (220F)
14.       Let cool down.
   15.      Add glue on the cufflinks before placing back the saved circles of clay
  16.     Place the circles back, and bake for just 10min (220F)

Now you can sand and polish your piece.
